Robert has been a business leader for over twenty-five years. He started his first company, Pinnacle Promotions, in 1987 and sold it in 1993. He then joined Saatchi & Saatchi Holdings, under the Bates Worldwide division, and created a global marketing services company called 141 Worldwide. Within three years, Robert helped propel the growth of that business to over $100 million in revenue and 45 offices serving global and local clients worldwide. During his career, he has provided services to some of the world’s most iconic brands, as well as to a wide array of new and emerging brands.
Robert joined SFX Entertainment (now Live Nation) as head of global marketing alliances, where he oversaw the development of large scale brand marketing relationships and helped the company establish an entertainment marketing business in Brazil.
He created and funded an award-winning luxury men’s apparel business, 2M Apparel Ventures, and from 2003 to 2009 developed a fifty-store wholesale operation and opened two company-owned retail stores selling the Niformis and Roberto da Carrara luxury brands, along with many leading menswear brands.
In November 2009, Robert created Crosscourt Advisors to share his experiences and expertise with companies looking for help in the areas of strategy, marketing and revenue creation. For his clients, he is a “CMO or CSO on call”, providing CEOs and key decision makers with advice and insight on a variety of topics, strategic thinking and tactical solutions for growing businesses. He is also Chairman of Techne Sports Network, a global sports video company.
