Nicolas Cabrera brings more than 17 years of innovation and technology leadership in retail marketplaces across Europe, Australia/NZ and the USA. He joined Sagem, French leading telecommunications and technology company and established the product strategy and distribution channel in Australia. After more than 5 years leading product and marketing teams in Blue Chip organizations, Nicolas joined eBay Australia in 2004 as the product management and innovation lead. During his time at eBay Inc., Nicolas managed the launch of the new merchant payment solutions, merchants and advertising integration. He was then appointed Head of Digital at Westfield, the world’s largest listed retail property owner.
After pioneering several successful digital initiatives in Australia, Nicolas Cabrera moved to San Francisco in 2012 as Senior Vice President, Product Management, Westfield Labs, the global digital innovation Lab for Westfield, where he helped create the team and develop digital led shopper innovations. Nicolas is now SVP, Product at Westfield Retail Solutions, the nextgen commerce platform, developing unique digital and physical commerce solutions.
He holds a Master in Business Development majoring in Entrepreneurship from the University College of Dublin, and a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of La Sorbonne – Paris. He also holds a Product Management certificate from the Silicon Valley Product Group.
He was named in the 2011 AdNews Top 40 under 40 business executives of the year in Asia Pac.
