Amauri Campos is the CMO of Bark, an accurate, efficient and robust tool for helping parents keep their children safe on social media, text messaging, and email. With sophisticated technologies that go well beyond simple keyword matching or requiring parents to manually monitor all of their children’s online activities, Bark alerts parents only when it detects a credible threat – be it sexting, cyberbullying, Internet predators or even suicidal thoughts.
As VP of Marketing of Kuna, Amauri Campos oversaw branding, go-to-market, customer acquisition, hardware sales and service subscription, and growth hacking programs. With a small, high performing, low budget team, he launched a successful crowdfunding campaign and built a multimillion dollar business via Amazon and Kuna’s online store.
Previously, Campos was part of Symantec’s consumer brand team, Norton, where he built a strong e-tail presence, personally managing multimillion dollar accounts like Amazon and Rakuten, and was awarded “Americas Marketer of the Year” in 2015.
Campos’s award-winning career in marketing and sales for technology start-ups and multinational corporations started over 15 years ago and included Telecom Italia Mobile, Intellisync, Nokia, RingCentral, among others in Brazil, Latin America, and the US.
He is recognized by his creative thinking, out-of-the-box problem-solving, hardworking, and always positive can-do attitude. Thrives in fast-paced work environments regardless of company stage or size, and is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Amauri holds a degree in Marketing from the State University of New York WCC, NY, and a Certificate in Digital Media Marketing from NYU, NY. He resides in San Mateo, CA with his wife and son, and passionate about playing tennis, scuba diving, and downhill skiing.
