Jennifer Saxton is the Founder & CEO of Tot Squad, a baby gear service company whose vision is to become the “Geek Squad” of the baby world. Tot Squad provides car seat installations, baby gear cleaning, and stroller repairs in partnership with retailers. Credited by The New York Times as having created a new industry, Tot Squad has raised close to $2MM with its “juggernaut aspirations” to transform the baby world.
Based in LA and with operations in San Diego, New York City and Washington DC, Tot Squad also has a national network of car seat technicians to service growing B2B partnerships and is scaling via franchising. Her work with Tot Squad has also been featured in The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, Entrepreneur Magazine, INC Magazine, Fast Company, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, and Forbes, among others.
Jen received her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University where she focused on Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Tot Squad was created through her MBA coursework when she searched for business ideas that would help improve work/life balance for busy parents. She went on to win first place in the Kellogg Cup Business Plan Competition and was recognized with the Student of the Year Award in Entrepreneurship.
Prior to business school, Jen worked in Management Consulting in San Francisco, as well as strategy for a food & beverage company in LA. She grew up in Austin, Texas and received a B.S. in Mathematics from Duke University.
